Our Impact

For too long we have witnessed an inequality of access to care based on income, employment benefits, or other limiting demographic factors.  We decided to do something about it!  ChiroCare USA has established arrangements with health care professionals enabling you to have access to and receive pain management services at a discounted or no-cost rate.

To start, we believe information is power and knowledge saves lives.  If you could remove pain from your life – in advance of it becoming life-altering episodes – would you live a better life?   Likewise, meeting with health care providers is often hard to access.  If these providers could be easily reached, could it change how you care for yourself?

Spine -related musculoskeletal pain is the leading cause of disability worldwide and one of the most common reasons for missed work.

According to a study performed by the American Chiropractic Association, “the cost of spine-related pain in the United States is estimated at $134.5 billion. Spinal pain patients have multiple options when choosing healthcare providers, resulting in variable costs. Escalation of costs occurs when downstream costs are added to episode costs of care. The purpose of this review was to compare costs of chiropractic and medical management of patients with spine-related pain.”

Alternative treatment improves outcomes and lowers cost

We use the buying power of our IPA Network Members to provide easy access to professional services. Each payer participation allows us to increase value-added services and programs. Our high-quality medical professionals are listed for easy access to all members. In addition, we have included access to clinical pathways for self-help to assist employees by providing tools to help improve their quality of life - everyday.

We are strong believers in utilizing a Primary Spine Care (PSC) approach for the management and treatment of patients with spine-related disorders (SRD). By utilizing evidenced-based non-pharmaceutical management protocol we can help reduce the overall cost of care (reductions in spinal injections, hospitalizations, diagnostic imaging, and referrals to specialists). In a study performed by Chiropractic & Manual Therapies 2022 (Jan 6), the following was documented for patients seen by a PSC:

  • lower hospitalization rate

  • Lower rate of opioid prescriptions

  • Lower occurrence of spinal injection

  • Lower visits with a specialist

How to reduce the cost of injured workers

Want to reduce the overall cost of care? Improve access to chiropractic providers to triage and manage employees with neck and back pain. As indicated above, total cost savings can be near 86% for utilizing non-surgical options.
